Women in Islam- In Islamic faith the Qur'an stresses the fact that both men and women are equal in service under Allah. They both have the same religious duties. Also mention in the Qur'an is that Males should protect and provide for women. Male and female though are still equal, in creation and in afterlife but they are not identical. Outside of religion women have big roles in founding Islamic education centers. Fatima al-Fihri is an example. She founded the first university that gave out academic awards. Many other women also founded many schools, half of the patrons for great buildings were women. Now if Women are rich enough they can own businesses and property.
